Hotline
Fuerza Latina’s hotline helps connect the Spanish-speaking immigrant community to resources and offers assistance to the families of immigrants who have been arrested or detained. Our bilingual volunteers can help navigate area resources and interactions with the immigration system. Our volunteers are not attorneys and cannot give legal advice. Call 970-472-1501. This guide was last updated in April 2017, but many of the laws, procedures, and advice are still relevant today. We have created a guide where you will find resources available to you and your family to support greater housing stability. Additionally, there is information that will help you understand what your rights and responsibilities are as a tenant and how to prepare for better communication with your landlord or for a legal defense, should your landlord file an eviction case against you.
