Community Empowerment Clinics

The goal of our quarterly rights and resources clinics is to empower the community through education and trainings on topics such as immigration legal issues, worker rights, mental health, and housing rights.

We also provide equitable access to community resources. Instead of a typical resource fair, where community members might just learn about services, we ask participating organizations to come ready to help. During this time, attendees may take the next step towards forming their own small business, learn more about their immigration case, apply for rent assistance, or get help filing their taxes. And finally, we try to make these events a celebration, with a meal, kids activities, balloon decorations, and more.

These events are sponsored by Fuerza Latina, ISAAC of Northern Colorado, and the Poudre River Public Library District with the help of many volunteer leaders from the community.
