La Fondita Latina is a restaurant based, worker-owned cooperative and is a model for creating jobs and opportunities for immigrants in our community. In a cooperative, the workers providing the service are also equal owners of the company. A goal of Fuerza’s cooperative is not only to become financially sustainable, but to duplicate our efforts by bringing trainings to Fort Collins. 

La Fondita Latina was a crowd favorite this past summer at the Larimer County Farmer’s Market where they sold freshly made tamales, empanadas, taquitos, and more, including vegan options. Look for updates soon about the grand opening of their restaurant in downtown Fort Collins!
